The Defense Headquarters has excused the torment recordings being circled via web-based networking media affirmed to have been executed by the faculty of the military while actualizing the COVID-19 remain at home request.

The Coordinator, Defense Media Operations, Maj.- Gen. John Enenche, in an announcement on Thursday, said the recordings being circled were craftsmanship of wickedness producers to discolor the picture of the military.

Enenche said that the recordings were deluding, including that they were not identified with the current military commitment of the Armed Forces of Nigeria towards the lockdown on COVID-19.

As per him, the Nigerian Armed Forces considers those to be as determined endeavors to discolor its expert trustworthiness by some insidiousness producers.

“The consideration of the Defense Headquarters has been attracted to some video cuts inclining in the media.

“Therefore, the Armed Forces of Nigeria wishes to express that the recordings were old clasps of past occurrences that occurred in 2012 and 2013 individually.

“The clasps are being utilized by some insidious components to discolor the picture of the Armed Forces of Nigeria.

“Individuals from general society are thus encouraged to dismiss those recordings. It is the handwork of bogus news propagators. The Armed Forces of Nigeria stays resolute and would not be diverted.

“Moreover, the Armed Forces of Nigeria is focused on playing out its sacred jobs towards guaranteeing the assurance of our regional trustworthiness and the lives and property of the overall population,”

He said.
