BREAKING: Okorocha’s Inlaw, Nwosu Withdraws Appeal Against Ihedioha
Up-and-comer of the Action Alliance, AA, in the governorship political race that held in Imo State on March 9, Uche Nwosu, on Tuesday, pulled back the intrigue he stopped to challenge representative Emeka Ihedioha’s triumph.
Nwosu, who is child inlaw to the previous legislative leader of the state, Rochas Okorocha, predicated his choice to pull back his allure against Ihedioha on a judgment the Supreme Court conveyed against him on December 20, 2019.
At the point when his intrigue checked SC/1463/19, was called in the mood for hearing by a seven-man board of judges drove by the Chief Justice of Nigeria, CJN, Justice Tanko Muhammad, Nwosu, through his legal advisor, Mr. Solomon Umoh, SAN, said he was never again ready to proceed with the case.
“In view of the judgment of this Court dated twentieth December, in SC/1384/19, we had made plans to pull back our allure, on my recommendation to my customer”, Umoh submitted.
Attributable to withdrawal of the intrigue, the zenith court board struck it out.
It will be reviewed that the zenith court held that Nwosu was not qualified to take part in the governorship challenge, noticing that he was named by both the APC and the AA.
